A bold statement in Dubai architecture, the Muraba Veil is remarkable for its height and slenderness: Towering at 380 metres, this shimmering beacon of a building has just one apartment per floor, making it one of the slimmest skyscrapers ever built. What truly sets the Muraba Veil apart is the stainless steel “veil” that envelops the building, giving it a sleek, contemporary look.
Designed by Spanish Pritzker Prize-winning RCR Arquitectes and Dubai-based Muraba Properties, the Muraba Veil is the group’s fifth collaboration. The group previously partnered to create Muraba Dia on Palm Jumeirah. With Muraba Veil, they seek to work in harmony with Dubai’s traditional architecture and climate, while creating a modern haven in the heart of the bustling city. “We are passionate about ensuring our buildings respond to their place and belong to the native landscape,” said Rafael Aranda, founder of RCR Arquitectes.
